Drugstore Cowboy is a muscial project that sounds like a combination of highly viral music and the Texas rural experience. A drugstore cowboy is defined as “a young man who loafs around drugstores or on street corners/a person who dresses like a cowboy but has never worked as one.” To coincide with the grungy musical tone, the images were made with film, with the imperfections left in the frame. The cover designs reference the bright colors and simple text of rural businesses in Texas.
